Buxton College hairdressing students reach UK final
Five hairdressing students from Buxton and Leek College are on the crest of a wave after winning places in the final of a national competition.
Sarah Degnan, Lucie Rennie, Rhiannon Hope, Sarah Plimmer and Gemma Plant beat off competition from 150 students at regional level to reach the 2020 Wella XPOSURE UK & Ireland final.
Gemma received a certificate of merit in recognition of her eye-catching creation.
This year’s competition was adapted to a digital format, with two categories to choose from, Creative Colour and Colour the Cut. Heats involving online photographs attracted hundreds of entries.
